What age is the SkootCase™ intended for and what is the weight + height limit?
SkootCase™ is intended for ages 5+. With three handlebar height options (height From Ground: 33.8”, 35.4”, 37”) it’s designed to grow with your child up to around age 12 depending on height/weight. The rider weight limit for the SkootCase™ is up to 220 lbs.
What if the airport is too crowded for riding?
If you’re in an area too busy for riding, you can easily fold the SkootCase™ back into rolling mode and pull it like a typical carry-on. Providing options for all different scenarios while traveling.
Is the SkootCase™ carry-on friendly?
Yes, the SkootCase™ is carry-on friendly and fits in most overhead bins. It can also be stored as two separate pieces if you’re ever limited on space. We recommend that you adhere to airline guidelines and check with your airline for size and weight limit restrictions ahead of traveling. We also suggest our SkootCase™ Travel Bag, which is great if you ever have to gate-check your SkootCase™ and don’t want it to get scuffed or scratched.
Can the luggage piece detach from the SkootCase™?
YES! Our patent-pending design has a detachable luggage piece so your child can use just the scooter base once you reach your destination. We recommend reviewing our How To Use Your SkootCase™ page for instructions on how to use your SkootCase™ before you travel.
How easy is it to fold and unfold your SkootCase™?

Does the SkootCase™ turn and brake?
Yes, unlike other scooter luggage on the market the SkootCase™ has a lean to steer design for easing turning (25 degree turn radius on each side). It also has a rear brake pedal.
What age is the Toddler Backpack intended for?
The Toddler Backpack is intended for ages 2-5 years old depending on the size of your child. The specs for the Toddler Backpack are 12.2"H×9.1"W×4.3"D for reference.
What age is the Kids Backpack intended for?
The Kids Backpack is intended for ages 5+. The specs for the Kids Backpack are 14.8"H×11.2"W×5.7"D for reference.
What ages are the Kids Helmet intended for?
The Kids Helmet comes in two sizes (small + medium) and is intended for ages 5-10 years old depending on head circumference. Please measure your child’s head to determine the proper size. Size small: 51-54cm/20.1-21.3inch (head circumference). Size medium: 54-58cm/ 21.3-22.8inch (head circumference).
Orders & Payments
How can I check the status of my order?
We'll keep you updated via email throughout the fulfillment process. Once your order has shipped from our warehouse, you'll receive a shipping confirmation email that includes your tracking number. If you do not receive a shipping confirmation email, please let us know by emailing contact@goskoot.com
How can I update my shipping address after I place an order?
If you need to update your shipping address, please contact us at contact@goskoot.com within one hour of placing your order. While we'll do our best to accommodate address changes requested within that time frame, we cannot guarantee that changes can be made once an order has been processed. If we are unable to update the address, you may need to contact the shipping carrier directly to explore available delivery options.
Can I ship my order to a pickup location?
Yes! If you're concerned about package theft, won't be home for delivery, or prefer not to have your order delivered to your residence, you can select a nearby pickup location at checkout.
You'll be able to choose from thousands of convenient pickup locations, including participating UPS Stores, CVS, Michaels, and other local businesses. Once your order has been delivered, you'll receive a notification letting you know it's ready for pickup.
Please note that pickup location availability may vary based on your shipping address and the shipping methods available for your order.
What should I do if my package is delayed or held by the carrier?
If your shipment is delayed, held, or experiencing a delivery issue, the best first step is to contact the shipping carrier directly. In many cases, the carrier may need additional information or delivery instructions that only the recipient can provide.
Depending on the situation, the carrier may offer options such as updating the delivery address or holding the package at a local pickup location. Please note that address changes requested through the carrier may result in additional fees, which are the responsibility of the recipient.
To help avoid these fees, you may wish to ask the carrier if the package can be held at a nearby pickup location for collection instead.
My order never arrived. What should I do?
If your tracking information shows that your package has not been delivered or you believe it may be lost in transit, please contact us at contact@goskoot.com. Our team will review the shipment details and, if appropriate, file a claim with the shipping carrier on your behalf.
Carrier investigations can take several business days to complete, and timelines vary depending on the carrier and circumstances. During this time, we may need to wait for the carrier's findings before determining the next steps.
Once the carrier has completed its investigation and the claim has been approved, we'll review the situation and available inventory to determine the best resolution.
My tracking shows delivered, but I haven't received my order.
If your tracking information shows that your package has been delivered but you can't locate it, don't panic just yet! It's actually quite common for carriers to mark packages as delivered before they arrive. In many cases, the package is delivered within the next 2–3 business days.
We recommend taking the following steps first:
- Check around your property, including porches, side doors, garages, mailrooms, and other safe delivery locations.
- Ask household members if they may have accepted the package.
- Check with neighbors in case the package was delivered to the wrong address.
- Contact the shipping carrier directly, as they may be able to provide additional delivery details, GPS information, or assist in locating the package.
If 3 business days have passed since the package was marked as delivered and you still have not received it, please contact us at contact@goskoot.com. We'll be happy to assist with filing a claim and determining the best resolution based on the outcome of the carrier's investigation.
I checked the tracking and it says my order is "Return to Sender." What does that mean?
A package may be returned to our warehouse by the shipping carrier for a variety of reasons. The most common cause is an incomplete or incorrect shipping address, but packages can also be returned due to delivery issues identified by the carrier.
If you notice that your tracking information shows your package is being returned to sender, please contact us as soon as possible at contact@goskoot.com. Be sure to include your order number and the correct shipping address in your email.
Once the package is received back at our warehouse, we'll confirm the updated address and reship your order at no additional charge. Please note that we are unable to reship a returned package until it has been received and processed by our warehouse team.

Do you offer free shipping?
Yes! Orders over $250 qualify for free standard shipping.
Which shipping partners do you use?

Which countries do you ship to?
For now we only offer shipping within the United States. We are working on expanding to international shipping.
How quickly can I receive my order?
We offer three shipping options: Fast (Standard Shipping: 3-7 business days after shipment), Faster (Priority Shipping: 1-3 business days after shipment), and Fastest (Overnight: Rate calculated based on weight and destination the order is being shipped to. Estimated delivery within 1-2 days after order is shipped). Please note processing times are separate from shipping times (orders typically are processed within 1-3 business days. Shipping times are estimates and may vary during holidays, launches, or carrier delays. Please refer to our Shipping page for more information.
Can I return or exchange my order?
Eligible products may be returned or exchanged within 30 days of delivery. Please refer to our Returns and Exchanges page for more information.
Warranty
SkootCase™ 1 Year Limited Warranty
Skoot™ warranties all SkootCases™ to be free from manufacturing defects for one (1) year from the date of purchase, provided that the claimant can provide proof of purchase, which includes the product with SKU, the date of purchase, and the retailer’s name. The limitations to this warranty excludes coverage for normal wear and tear, damage to the SkootCase™ due to abuse, misuse, mishandling, improper storage, improper assembly, and improper maintenance. Skoot™ will not be liable in any way, including for consequential or incidental damages, for any losses due to use of the SkootCase™, modifications to the SkootCase™ or use by any person exceeding the SkootCase™ recommended weight and/or age. There is no warranty other than the express warranty set forth herein. All implied warranties are hereby disclaimed by Skoot™.
